This week we are pleased to welcome new members to the Film School. Teemee and Mary came along and threw themselves into using the cameras and autocue from the moment they arrived. We had planned to film the Swansea Firework Display at the St Helen’s grounds but decided it would not be good to use the pro cameras in the wet weather. Better luck next year. But back to the present and the Christmas Parade will take place on Sunday 23rd November and this will be an opportunity. There is so much to see, bright lights, colouful trailers, marching bands. This is always an exciting event in Swansea, attended by thousands.
We are amalgamating the two schools into one, meeting on Saturdays at 12 o’clock. Once we have larger numbers of students we will divide back into 2 separate classes. So, for the moment no more Wednesday sessions. Any questions get in touch. If you are a student you will be on our Whatsapp Group and kept up-to-date.
Christmas comes round faster every year and now everything will speed up with the Xmas market coming next month and the shops getting into the spirit. Halloween and Bonfire Night seem a distant memory already!! And now we’ll be ramping up to produce a short Christmas film so if you are 12-19 get in touch and get involved.
