The event, Celebrating Community Impact and Adult Fundraising Achievement for ASDES, was held at the Mansion House on 29 April 2026 . It is a small, inclusive event focused on recognising the fundraising achievement of Luke Trotman, a 24 year old neurodivergent young man, who completed a 10 km charity run and raised over £1,300 for ASDES, a local Community Interest Company that provides vital support to him and to others.
The event highlighted the essential role of small community and voluntary organisations, the funding pressures they face, and the positive contribution these adults can make to their communities through volunteering and fundraising. The Lord Mayor of the City & County of Swansea was present and provided civic recognition of community contribution and inclusion.
