Swan Film School is a universal club open to all 12–19 year-olds. With weekly workshops in all aspects of film-making, it offers Young People a safe and friendly environment with professional support.

Swan Film School was specifically created to introduce young people in Swansea to all aspects of film-making giving then new work skills and increase their social skills, confidence and overcoming anxiety. It caters to the needs of local young people in Swansea who not in education or work, disengaged at school or disabled.

This is a wonderful opportunity to learn everything from script-writing, film acting, using professional video equipment, sound and lighting, working in a green screen studio, directing, prop making and editing. All students have a choice of participating in any aspect, don’t want to be on camera? No problem, learn camera techniques. Like writing? Learn how to turn your story into a film script and see it come to life.

So come and learn as you have fun making films. Meet every Saturday 12 until 1.30pm but we will be introducing other sessions in due course. Remember, we are here to support you in your health and well being.
